Remote container medical clinics consists of a 20ft and 40ft container designed to facilitate health services for victims of gender-based violence and essential maternal care. The 20ft shipping container is transformed into a medical facility with extreme robust characteristics.




Remote maternity ward container clinic
maternity consists of a waiting area, a treatment/delivery room and a recovery area. It has a toilet and shower, storage room and comes fully packed with consumables, medicines and equipment. The Container Maternity Clinic is designed to facilitate medical procedures such as removal of the placenta, exploration of the uterus, reparation of perineal tears, vacuum extraction, forceps delivery and partographic assessment of the labour progress.
Community victims of gender-based, violence the Container Maternity Unit aims to provide treatment to injuries and post-exposure prophylactic treatment as prevention to sexual transmittable infections.
